One of the most rewarding aspects of being a successful investment advisor is knowledge. We take pride in our understanding of economic and political trends, how they work together, and what it means for our clients.
At Poetic Justice Capital Management, it is our mission to organize a large set of random, abstract concepts, and organize them in a coherent framework we call a conceptual hierarchy. It starts with our moral responsibility to our clients, and leads to their moral responsibility to the one life they own.
Our biggest challenge is your biggest challenge. To unlearn everything you have been conditioned to think by your economics professors, your firm, and the financial press. Philosopher John Locke asserts we are born with a blank slate. It starts there, Tabula Rasa.
Of course that’s not totally realistic. There are fundamental principles we must keep. The trick is to build on those, adopt a fresh and intransigent mindset, and radically differentiate yourself among your clients and peers. More importantly, to help you engage future clients in a remarkably dynamic way.
To that end, we have created six, eight question multiple choice quizzes. The initial goal is to learn the style of investment advice you currently practice. Ultimately, we use them as the basis for coaching sessions. These will help you deliver an advice and service model that truly meets your clients needs, is easy to use, and is reliable. This is radical.
